V-marked Lady Beetle - Neoharmonia venusta

V-marked Lady Beetle - Neoharmonia venusta
Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Very strong, deep red colouration caught my attention right away. Highly active, fast moving critter.

Like chicken soup, it couldn't hurt! ("Faces" can be important with these guys and flies, in particular.)

Other images added... keep?
I've put up two fairly poor images taken from the front of this specimen. If you get a chance, have a look and let me know if you still think they belong in the guide. Thanks :)

Definitely keep the second.
I'd Frass the third, so it'll be around for a while, then disappear automatically later. (Learned that one from Jeff Hollenbeck.)
