Thanks
Moved from Baridinae.
I trust your knowledge. I am hopeless with keys anyways. There are several in the guide already, but none from PA.

i'm completely sympathetic, Beatriz,
and have the same problem despite the fact that i'm very good with keys and did spend years doing almost nothing but keying bugs. If you deal mostly with your backyard, you don't need the ordeal of using keys that may cover vast areas and thus include mostly taxa not even present in yours. Such keys are usually complicated and tricky even for experts and usually require, as pre-requisites for successful use, [1] a decent reference collection, and [2] some prior hands-on familiarity with the local fauna, acquired from a good tutor :-] I don't imply keys are useless... I'm just learning American insects and have very hard (however enjoyable) time with many groups. Suerte, =v=

Glyptobaris lecontei?

Thank you
What are the features I should look for to ID this weevil?

now i'm sure about my ID, pls move it to sp.page
the beetle is distinct; go with the 'gestalt' (i do)
'features'... you'll find'em in keys, like in Amer.Beetles -- but i don't recommend engaging into that kind of pursuit unless you are eager to commit most of your life to keying insects, seriously.

Moved

Baridinae subfamily.
don´t know the genus :-)

Thanks.
Thanks.
