Tiny black beetle - Myzus cerasi

Tiny black beetle - Myzus cerasi
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
June 4, 2007
Thousands of these bugs have infested my sweet cherry tree. What are they & how do I get rid of them with out useing harsh pestsides?

Moved
Moved from Aphids.

Aphids
I'm not familiar with their eradication, but there are natural predators, including ladybird beetles. (If you go this route, be sure the insect you "import" really does belong in your area.)
