Is this a termite queen? - Ammopelmatus

Is this a termite queen? - Ammopelmatus
Santa Cruz County, California, USA
June 3, 2007
Size: approximately 2 inches
We discovered this bug after our camping trip underneath the tent. It looked a little shocked being exposed to the sun all of a sudden. Can't quite find the name of this bug, it has some similarities with a dampwood termite. Could someone tell me his/her name? Thanks!

Potato bug
This is a jerusalem cricket, sometimes called a potato bug.
