Singhiella simplex Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA September 11, 2015
I sent this specimen, along with two other adults and a Ficus benjamina leaf with exuviae, to Dr. Ian Stocks of the Florida Department of Agriculture. He slide-mounted the exuviae and determined that they were from Singhiella simplex, a state record for Texas. He said it is a safe bet that the adults are also that species.
The adults came to blacklight at my apartment. The leaves with exuviae were collected at a plant shop a half mile away.
I've requested that a new guide page be added.
