Very small red & black bug - Sehirus cinctus

Size: ~3 mm
They come out at night & crawl on the rocks in my backyard. The largest ones are ~3 mm long. The scale is in millimeters.

Sehirus cinctus 2nd instar
Boris, thanks for the lead. It appears to be a Sehirus cinctus nymph.
