Some sort of Ichneumon wasp? We have quite a few of these around, I see them almost daily in the hot weather, but haven't managed to find one willing to hold still to get its picture taken until today, when it was miserably cold for June.

It is a beauty, isn't it? Very kind of it to just hang out on that blade of grass for long enough so I could get a few shots.
