Vashon BioBlitz 2015 - Is this a Scudderia nymph? - Scudderia furcata

Vashon BioBlitz 2015 - Is this a Scudderia nymph? - Scudderia furcata
Dockton Natural Area, Vashon, King County, Washington, USA
June 5, 2015
I could use some help ASAP on this one! We're presenting the results of Vashon's 4th annual BioBlitz at a community event tonight and I would love to get some confirmation that this is indeed a Scudderia nymph. Input from anyone knowledgeable in this area would be greatly appreciated!

We are really eager to confirm evidence of a population of native katydid species here on the island. Thus far, previous BioBlitzes have only turned up the introduced species, Meconema thalassinum.

Excellent!
Thanks so much, Brandon.

Thanks for the speedy responses, Ross & Larry!
That's the species I had my eye on too. Seems like a good visual match and the most likely candidate.

Anyone have any clue whether there are other katydid nymphs -- specifically non-native ones -- that could also look similar to this one? I'd like to be able to confidently tell local folks that the nymphs which look like this are native and worth reporting when found.

Similar species...
For instance, Phaneroptera nana looks like it could be easily confused:

Scudderia furcata nymph…
