Mallophora bomboides
St. Lucie County, Florida, USA

Size: BL 30mm
Photographed in same area as M. atra last July.
This massive robber was injured, maybe by another robber. It could not close one wing, was easily photographed and collected, and died an hour after images were taken.
I saved it. Email if interested in specimen, Herschel.
