Leaf-footed Bug Nymph - - Acanthocephala

Leaf-footed Bug Nymph - - Acanthocephala
Garden Ridge/San Antonio, Comal County, Texas, USA
June 5, 2007
What species do you think this is? femorata? thanks

Femorata looks like a good bet
even nymphs of other species seem to have their species' distinctive antennae - these are uniformly red rather than red-tipped, so that rules out the others, I think. See Acanthocephala page for details.
