Size: ~40mm in length
Hard to say what my favorite "find" of the day was today although this is one of the top contenders. It was hot and humid today and the insects were out and visible in full force this afternoon.

found same bug in upstate new york
The body of mine is an iridescent blue - very pretty. Caught when warm and humid out also. Mine is a specimen now (did not fare well in my temporary bug jar). So I was able to spread the wings and get a shot of which I'll post.
