Size: 14 mm
Size estimated. I finally got close enough to one of the Laphrias I see every spring to get some good photos. See comments on identification.

you might want to wait for Herschel to give the final word, but i think this is a fine picture of a male Laphria virginica. L. flavicollis are very close though.
