Recently emerged Grappletail 2 - Octogomphus specularis - Male

This recently emerged male grappletail was "curing" on a leaf of Western Coltsfoot, nearby to the individual in the companion post below:

 

I'm guessing the difference in color between the two posts is due to both variation and that this one emerged earlier than the other, and its colors have had more time to "set in".
