Camouflaged Ambush bug on fleabane

When we first saw this ambush bug nymph on a Fleabane plant at science camp, we thought it was just a dead leaf. As I looked more closely I noticed the "leaf" had legs! It was a great opportunity to discuss camouflage and mimicry with the campers.
