Acanthocephala femorata ? - Leptoglossus phyllopus

Acanthocephala femorata ? - Leptoglossus phyllopus
Garden Ridge/San Antonio, Comal County, Texas, USA
June 11, 2007
I think these mating leaf-footed bugs are Acanthocephala femorata on red yucca. They have red antenna, but the Guide doesn't show any examples of this species with the dorsal white horizontal stripe. Also, the humerus doesn't seem to be as "pumped up" as the Guide shows. What do you think? See the other non-tagged photos I submitted which include an adult and a nymph. Thanks!

Moved from Leptoglossus.

Leptoglossus
. . . related genus, probably Leptoglossus phyllopus.
