Unknown Caterpillar - Anomis editrix
Big Cypress (Loop Road), Florida, USA
January 4, 2016
Size: around 1 1/2"
I found several of these little caterpillars while searching roadside jungle brush in south Florida.
They reminded me of Canadian Owlet cats, in that that crawled like inchworms despite having a set of workable prolegs.
...a southern cousin, perhaps?
Any help would be appreciated.
(I'm currently on the road and my guidebooks are at home.) :(

Moved from Butterflies and Moths. Southern relative of the Rose of Sharon Moth, Owlets, pg 73

Thanks!
Thanks for solving my mystery!
