Sorry Ken-
I had thought (incorrectly, I presume) that they might be more readily-noticed by syrphid experts if left in 'ID reqest' (I had gotten almost instant feedback for other specimens the day prior) while the photos were still in 'ID request' and I was hoping for the same in these cases. I will move the photos back to the respective families where you had placed them yesterday. Sorry once again if I caused any confusion/inconvenience.

You may get lucky and get a quick ID in ID Request
However, the pics are more likely to get buried under pages of new submissions. Many experts never even visit ID Request; they focus on their preferred taxa, and are more likely to find and ID images placed there.
