5177 -- Checkered Apogeshna Moth -- Apogeshna stenialis
Maybe it's a problem of aging. We get forgetful about already having photographed a species. Then again, superfine photos of stunningly fresh specimens don't look like earlier photos using less-advanced (cheaper?) equipment. Perhaps you should throw some of them back, Tom, so we won't get confused by superlative images. Geez, am I jealous?
