Size: 6 or 7mm
I found this thing in the patch of Oxeye Daisies that had a bunch of Be*ewolv*es nectaring at. I was surprised at the size of it.

like a Conopidae in the area of Physoconops to me, but perhaps I am wrong.

It looked like a Pyrgotid to me. Looking at that group of photos, I think you could be right.
