Release site.
As I recall, Nantucket Island is one release site for captive-bred specimens of this endangered species.

Correct
You're right about that. I'm helping with the project this year, so I'll probably add some more pictures as the summer progresses. We're not releasing any captive-bred beetles this year, however, so this one is wild. Over the past few days we caught 21 individuals at one location, so they're doing pretty well.
