Size: 2.5 mm
With these distinctive antennae, the beetle's size (2.5 mm), and its reddish color, could this be Tribolium castaneum?

no, this is not Tenebrionidae
might be a member of Latridiidae; the images are not super helpful. Better to image a well-mounted, dried specimen

the help with the possible identification. I still have the beetle in alcohol. I'll try to dry it out, mount it, and take additional photos.
