Beautiful Ichneumon - Arotes - Female
Harms Woods Forest Preserve, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois, USA
June 17, 2007
Size: ~13mm without ovipositor
Found a half dozen of these females flitting around and landing on a large broken Ash limb. Based on the pictures in the guide, we're thinking this is an Arotes. Correction appreciated.
