Some changes in ant taxonomy

Recent publications have shifted ants in our fauna to different genera, and this needs to be reflected in the classification scheme at http://bugguide.net/node/view/165, and more broadly in the arrangement of the ant fauna on the guide.

Most recently, in http://www.mapress.com/j/zt/article/view/zootaxa.4072.3.4, the former subgenus Colobopsis has been elevated to genus out of Camponotus.
This require the latter taxon to be added as a genus under the tribe Camponotini, and the species
within it transferred to Colobopsis with feminine specific epithets, as follows: etiolata, hunteri, impressa, mississippiensis, obliqua.

And late last year this was published, http://antcat.s3.amazonaws.com/6399/demarco___cognato_2015_ann_entomol_soc_am_aphaenogaster_phylogeny.pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJJR3DGROFMVL2FBQ&Expires=1455128142&Signature=BbPsoc%2FwLxeE%2F91%2FPV8SjGj4iGs%3D, resurrecting the genus Novomessor out of Aphaenogaster, requiring listing Novomessor in the tribe Stenammini, and moving two species from Aphaenogaster to Novomessor, with masculine endings, namely, albisetosus, cockerelli.

Am I permitted to edit this, or should I (preferably) leave this to those more familiar with the formatting, etc.?

unnecessary comment

Sorry, I didn't think it unnecessary.
Because, I failed to mention earlier the necessary changes in placement of Brachymyrmex, Myrmelachista, Nylanderia, Paratrechina, Prenolepis.

Anyway, all looking good now, and awaiting the catching up of posts etc.

I really appreciate everyones's effort . HTML gives me headaches.

Sorry, we made a comment
that we realized later was unnecessary. But comments can't be deleted, only changed, so we changed it to a statement that we had intended to mean that we deleted one of our own unnecessary comments. Please just ignore that botched comment.

OK, we think we moved these around correctly on the Formicidae
info page and in the Taxonomy. It will take a few hours for the images to catch up with the genus page moves. We didn't know why it didn't like your less than symbols in the Novomessor info page so we replaced those with words and now the page seems to open correctly. But check things out and see if we have what you wanted correct. Still waiting to hear from John VanDyk about the best way to make the Colobopsis move

Less than
In a field that allows HTML you need to use the four characters < to write less than.

We created the Novomessor page
and moved the two species there, changing the ending of one, and including the old names in synonymy. All three Info pages would be helped if you were to edit them and add important information to them. It will take a while for the images to catch up with the page moves, but they will follow along shortly. We will send a note to John VanDyk about the other change.

We did not make any changes to the main Formicidae Info page. Looks like there is some catching up to do on that page. Not sure who keeps it current.

It may be, for example, that John VanDyk
can take the No Taxon Subgenus Colobopsis page and turn it into a Genus Colobopsis page, in which case only the specific epithets will need to be edited and all the info and images will simply transfer over.

Depending on the change being made
it is often possible to just rename a page and then move the entire page around in the guide to a new position. This takes everything with it, links and comments and all. Rather than creating new pages and moving individual items and then deleting pages which causes all the old links to be broken. We'll take a look and make some suggestions as best as we can understand. Others will probably have some suggestions on how best to accomplish the changes also.

Thanks.
I appreciate whatever can be done to do these updates.

Edited Novomessor genus page, but the identification section does not show in its entirety.
