Moved
Moved from Flies.

Yes, Milesia virginiensis
Yes, I believe that is Milesia virginiensis--it is distinctive.

Thanks
The markings were slightly different than some of the others and I wanted confirmation before moving it.

Key for this genus
Syrphidae of Oklahoma keys M. virginiensis versus M. scutellata (only eastern species). In part, it says:

Scutellum almost wholly reddish-yellow;... --M. scutellata
Scutellum widely black basally; both black crossbands of thorax typically entire,... --M. virginiensis

The scutellum looks correct for virginiensis to me. (Caveat: I am a rank amateur, and have not seen M. scutellata before--photo said to be this species on this page.)
