Soldier Fly
This is actually a soldier fly. If I'm not mistaken, it is
Hermetia illucens
, the Black Soldier Fly.

Thanks, It has got to be a Hermetia illucens!
The Hermetia illucens in your link has all of the same features including the strange blue markings of the eyes. I will have to look up some more details, this is completely new to me!
