Early "bird" - Prenolepis imparis - Female
Pacific, Franklin County, Missouri, USA
February 20, 2016
Size: 8mm, excluding wings.
Warm 25.5C/78F (record high for the date), light wind, sunny, 15:30 hr.
This is almost three weeks earlier than I've seen this species fly here in Missouri in years past.
