my guess is I IDd this by looking at Bob Patterson's site.

Nolinae for sure
...and Nola ovilla seems like a good match. On the page by Bob Patterson that you referred to, he says "I think it is possible that two species are represented here." I agree. The top row of 4 photos (all taken in April) look like your specimen, which I think is N. ovilla, and the ones on the bottom row look different. In fact, the third one (shot on April 23rd) looks like Nola triquetrana to me.
Lynn Scott gives dates in May for N. ovilla in the Ottawa area. It makes sense that Bob's dates are earlier (April) for Maryland, and your date of late March is also reasonable because you're further south than Bob.
Meganola species fly later (June and July in Ontario), and I think that's what the other photos are on Bob's bottom row.
