This is the very similar Loph
This is the very similar Lophocampa maculata - Spotted Tussock Moth.

Note the terminal line of spots on your moth merges with the outer margin (L thumbnail below) whereas the terminal line of spots on the Hickory Tussock Moth- L. caryae do not- the terminal spots are much more defined in the latter (see R thumbnail below):
