Ox Beetle - Strategus aloeus - Male
LeCompte, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, USA
Collected from the infamous Chevron off Interstate 49.

Cool Ox Beetle
I have seen many pictures of male ox beetles like yours, and hardly any of females, though I have found three ox beetles that were female, and ZERO that were males. Funny how that happens, isn't it?
