Good or bad bug? - Reduvius personatus

Good or bad bug? - Reduvius personatus
Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, USA
June 20, 2007
Size: measured about 7/8" long
Found this crawling around the my home around 9pm today. Decided to get a pic and submit it for ID. Looks like an assassin bug to me, but is it a good one or a bad one?

Good bug
Adult of masked hunter, Reduvius personatus. These are major predators of bedbugs.

Yes, but...
Even though it is not one of the blood-feeding assassins, you still don't want to get bit by one:-) The odd one of these in the house probably means it flew to a light at night and wandered in...Two to several means you better check for bed bugs....
