Although neither BG nor MPG show any Texas records for the species, it is listed by Knudson & Bordelon on their Texas checklist. Photographed at the porchlight of a private residence just N of Garner SP.

ID confirmed by Ed Knudson
...as Idaea bonifata. He mentions that he has collected the species in "3 or 4 far-flung places in Texas".
