Unfortunately it was resting in a very narrow space between fence slats, so I could not get any other angles on it before it flew.

You'd be better off...
...leaving this in the Guide (at your deepest level of certainty). It's now buried at the very bottom of ID request, and unlikely to get much attention.

Thanks for letting me know, Ken. My research led me to the Euwallacea genus, and at least 3 other people have suggested the same, so I'll just move it back there.

Thanks, Marc...someone else also suggested that. With these critters I think a genus level ID is probably the best I can hope for.
