LOL. I just love the old, weird names in the Audubon Field Guide to Insects and Spiders. I believe that they were referring to one of the spiketails (Cordulegaster sp.) with that.

Nah, this is Hagenius brevistylus, the Dragonhunter. Largest clubtail in NA. Magnificent insect.
