What Interesting Attire for a Lacewing Larva!
Hi Steve,
You're right that this is a frass-covered immature. However, it is not a hopper nymph, but a lacewing larva! Compare to a similar image in guide:

I have seen the one in image you provide "lifting their top" before, but was unaware that it was an immature Lacewing. Thanks!
