Male - March Fly
Probably one in the genus Dilophus: (all dark legs with very thin tarsi, spines on apex of fore-tibia and spines on thorax)
Here's one from Alabama: ♂ The flower's white stamen-stalk highlights your fly's thorax spines quite nicely. Nice shot!
