Megalodacne heros

Megalodacne heros
WSU Gerber Biological Station, Sedgwick County, Kansas, USA
July 30, 2014
Size: 20 mm
This would be a new BG record for Kansas. Size and the lack of punctures on the black areas of the elytra suggest this is Megalodacne heros (Say).

Found on underside of mushroom. Specimen was in ethanol for a long time, which is probably why the orange is not very bright anymore.
