Snipe Fly - Chrysopilus

Size: body 7mm
I don't think I've seen this fly before. It has long legs like a "Long-legged Fly", but it doesn't have the "horse-face" of Mede*tera. It was larger than M, also. Found on a Rose of Sharon shrub. (Malva)
