Stonefly - Pteronarcys
Sauk River, near Bedal, King County, Washington, USA
April 16, 2016
Size: 4.1 cm
These pictures were taken very near the Sauk River in Washington state. The exact coordinates are 48° 6'10.70"N, 121°23'54.89"W.
I think this is one of the Giant Salmonflies. It would be fantastic if someone could id this animal down to the species level.

Pteronarcys
The large size, wing venation pattern and coloration make it a Pteronarcys.
