Size: one inch
The blue part of its wings are irridecent. It wasn't eating the camphor. Just sitting on it.

Elderberry Borer.
Thank you very much for helping me out with finding the name of this beetle. I think that I do have some elderberry around the yard. I didn't squish it (Elderberry Borer). I just took the photo. I think that it is a beautiful bug. Should I be concerned about it?

 
No...
...elderberry is a native shrub that handles these insects fine. They are not pests and should be appreciated for their beauty.
