Nomada bella? - Nomada - male

Nomada bella? - Nomada - Male
Pleasantville, Westchester County, New York, USA
May 10, 2016
Size: 1/3" est
Could this be Nomada bella? It has (1) an all black thorax ; (2) and black scapes; and (3) T-1 through T-5 have broad (interrupted) yellow bands; T-6 is partly yellow. The bee seems very similar to the nomad bee shown on this guide page: http://bugguide.net/node/view/617622

The bee was cruising above leaflitter in the middle of a woodland and feeding on claytonia. The Discover Life database lists only two nomada species as feeding on claytonia (N.imbricata & N. affabilis), but some other unlisted Nomada species do seem to nectar on this flower here (e.g., N. luteoloides). There are many willows around here, the apparently preferred food of N. bella.
