Moved from Formica aserva. If F. aserva indeed occurs in Tennessee, it wouldonly be at the highest elevations, not in the lowlands, like Henderson. The two species, though not closely related, look a lot alike except for a straight on view (antweb's "full face view" of the head) of the clypeal margin, but are quite different ecologically.
