Springtail - Tomocerus minor

Springtail - Tomocerus minor
Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada
May 16, 2016
Size: 3-4mm
A nice big (as Collembola go) springtail that was was found under a rock in cedar forest in Guelph, Ontario. The specimen sat still very nicely, so I assume it was grazing while I photographed it.

Tomocerus minor
Although big, as the name suggests, there are bigger Tomoceridae ;-)
