Ostracophyto flavicaudalis O'Hara, male
Moved from Tachinidae. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Aaron!

Probably state record (only known from MI, NC, NH in description). Easy to confuse this with Lydina, but the oranges tergite 6+7+genitalia are a good clue.

Moved
Moved from Flies. I currently don't have any editing program that can ajust color that way but I'll adjust the exposure, which I agree wasn't ideal.

White balance
You probably have a button that lets you click on a spot you want to be white.

Unfortunately I don't
I have the native iPhone program. I'll look into it.

Exposure
Can you adjust exposure or reshoot with better exposure? (And color if the background is supposed to be white.)

Tachinidae, maybe Exoristini or Polideini.
