I know absolutely nothing about insects, but I've had to free about 6 of these little guys from my living room in the past few weeks and I wonder if anybody can tell me what they are and why they have suddenly appeared! Thanks!

Got bed bugs?
It is not a silly question. Bed bugs are the major prey of the masked hunter indoors. The adult bugs are also attracted to lights at night, and may stray indoors at that time. However, finding so many in your home makes me think you might have a bed bug population that is sustaining them. I urge you to inspect for bed bugs.

Thanks... All of them have been found at night so I hope it's just the light. Plus I have a waterbed and I don't think they can live in a plastic mattress. But, I suppose it's possible that there could be bugs in some of the garage sale furniature that I own. I've searched here for bed bugs, but since I don't know the real name I just got obscure results. Can you tell me how to get to the bed bug page so I can see what I'm looking for?

Thanks!
