Bean Weevil (Acanthoscelides obtectus) - Acanthoscelides obtectus

Bean Weevil (Acanthoscelides obtectus) - Acanthoscelides obtectus
Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, California, USA
June 2, 2016
Size: 3-4 mm
Cluster of these beetles found inside near a window. The strong longitudinal lines don't match up with any other carpet beetles I've seen on BugGuide, yet I suspect a Dermestid of some kind. Other things of note: Very active flyers. The elytra are quite a bit shorter than the abdomen. Antennae are only slightly clubbed.

Thank you
Your comment helped so much. After reviewing all the "pea and bean weevils" I now think this is a Meibomeus musculus. I really appreciate your help.
