Unknown Horse Fly - Tabanus zythicolor - Female

Size: 12 mm
Please help with the identification of this fly, Tony. Thanks for all your help with this group. I am trying to photograph every horsefly I encounter. Who knows what will turn up?

Another very nice series
Tabanus zythicolor. One of C.B. Philip's species; his aim was to name the 1st and last species in each genus list (species arranged alphabetically). Thus he has the 1st in Tabanus, i.e., aar and the last, this one.
