Female - Anthophorine Bee
Is that a Prickly Pear Cactus plant? Do you have any other views of this gal, because I'm not exactly 100% sure? (small-dark mandibles, thin-green eyes, yellow hairs all over her face, thorax & legs, etc.)
This one is known from your area, but if confirmed, this might be a first for your state, congrats!
Anthophora fedorica: ♀ (central US & Mexico range) She also likes the yummy cactus flowers! Let's wait for an expert.

No, I was unable to do that.
Without seeing the wing veins, I'm still not sure. I was hoping that you would see something that I missed. (The eyes seem to be small and more greenish and less light-grayish or dark-blue.) Thanks for helping!

The flower belongs to a prickly pear cactus. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any other shots of the bee.
