Correction - Hister - Spilodiscus biplagiatus

Correction - Hister - Spilodiscus biplagiatus
Medford, (~15 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
July 1, 2006
Size: ~6.3mm
this shot is better show the extent of red/orange coloration, which stops shy of the lateral margin, and also the lateral pronotum with 2 stright stria, lacking any additional "confused" stria in between. There's also some faint subhumeral stria.

All of this appears to point toward Hister biplagiatus as a determination (seen here at the MCZ) . See Jeff's comments under the original posting.

Moved
Moved from Hister.

Nearctica lists it
as Spilo*discus biplagiatus. Shall we take that?

yes,
yes, thanks for catching that. Spilodiscus also agrees the MCZ's current name.
