spider on maple tree - Pityohyphantes
Quebec, Canada
June 18, 2007
Size: 0.75cm
Can anyone help with this? It is found running quite rapidly up a tree (maple) during the daytime, there was no sign of a web. I would greatly appreciate any help with this as I haven't made any headway at all. Thanks.

Moved
Moved from Spiders.

It reminds us of the Linyphiids
in the genus Pityohyphantes, images in the guide here, but maybe Eric or Jeff will be able to give you a more definitive answer.

Thanks
Fantastic. Thanks for the help; it certainly looks very likely.
