Aphid?

Aphid?
Lewisville, PA, Pennsylvania, USA
July 3, 2007
Size: 1"
This particular bug has been crawling on my pansy plants. I believe it is some kind of aphid, but not sure.

nymph stage wheel bug
possibly a nymph stage wheel bug. wikipedia will have pictures to verify/compare

nice
That's a very nice image, looks almost like a cooked lobster.

Aphid killer maybe:-)
This is the nymph of an assassin bug of some kind, perhaps recently molted given the red color. At that size, would suggest a wheel bug, Arilus cristatus. They don't get the crest until the final molt to adulthood.
